Welcome to the V Annual Conference of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators: ‘ACER: Past, Present and Future’, which will take place on 16 June at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana (Slovenia). The Conference will aim to define how the Agency can best contribute to the common goal of completing a well-functioning, competitive, sustainable and secure Internal Energy Market in the context of the Energy Union.
The EU Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete, will honour the Agency with his participation and will deliver the keynote speech on the future of ACER within the EU Strategy for an Energy Union.
Following the welcome addresses on behalf of the Host Country, the European Parliament and the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Conference will be structured in three sessions:
1) How ACER came about.
2) How did ACER do in these 5 years?
3) ACER’s role in the future.
We look forward to meeting you at our V Annual Conference! The ACER team.
