Stakeholders invited to express views on the Agency Template for the consultation on the reference price methodology

Following Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460 of 16 March 2017 establishing a Network Code on Harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas, the Agency is organising an Open House session to ask stakeholders’ feedback on this template, which is based on the requirements of Article 26(5).

 

The main purpose of the template is to support the communication between the Agency and the National Regulatory Authorities in the context of the opinion the Agency is required to deliver on the reference price methodologies.

 

The template published provides the structure and content that will eventually be implemented. The current draft template does not yet contain the comments of the consultation with ENTSOG, which will end on 8 June 2017.

We encourage stakeholders to send questions and remarks in advance, by 23 May 2017, 10:00 CET.

 

Written comments on the template can be provided by 13 June 2017 close of business.

 

 

The Agency welcomes comments around two major questions:

 

    - Will stakeholders recommend the widespread use of the template to the National Regulatory Authority/Transmission System Operator responsible for the national consultation?

    - Are the consultation requirements of the template in line with Article 26 of the Tariff Network Code?
