ACER webinar on amendments to the European electricity grid connection network codes

ACER is organising a webinar to present the amendments to the grid connection network codes (GC NCs). In the framework of the Grid Connection European Stakeholder Committee, ACER was tasked by the European Commission to initiate the process to amend the existing European GC NCs in September 2022. 

ACER is running a Public Consultation from 17 July to 25 September 2023 on concrete amendment proposals regarding two network codes:

• Network Code on Requirements for Grid Connection of Generators; and 
• Network Code on Demand Connection.

With this online event, ACER intends to:

• Present ACER’s proposed amendments to the grid connection network codes;
• Outline the purpose and timeline of the amendments process and explain the public consultation process; and
• Address questions.
