What is it about?

This workshop has been designed to facilitate future development of the pan-European Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) methodology for energy infrastructure projects with cross-border influence in Europe. These projects contribute to complete the European internal energy market and to reach the EU's energy policy objectives aiming to ensure affordable, secure and sustainable energy.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide insight into the role of the CBA methodology, its current use and its foreseen/desired purpose. The workshop, which will host speakers from ENTSO-E, ACER and Exergia (consultants), will provide an opportunity to understand and discuss developments regarding the assessment and evaluation process for projects of the pan-European Ten-Year Network Development Plans.
